So I finally decided on keeping the half-octagon box, and felt I needed to paint it an relocate my amp to the amp rack underneath. I also installed a Phoenix Gold BassCube. It's amazing what this thing will do and sounds very clean too. As soon as I get TermLab use, I'm confident I can pull off a 146-147 with this setup.
Here's a few before and after shots. This was my first time with a paint gun, and I kinda fvcked up by not using automotive paint. I used some water based shit from Lowes, but it was a little cheaper and almost matches my car.
The clear coat is automotive grade and man was it expensive! I'll probably end up painting it exactly the same color as my car at some point.
I think it looks pretty good, any thoughts?
