wrong!A voltmeter wont tell you, as that measures voltage. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Seriously though, I realize you mean a multi-meter, but I dont see getting around needing one. Borrow a buddy's, set it to ohms, touch the leads. Will take all of 4 seconds. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Since you do not know and reall do not need to know what DCR is, just measure the resistance of the coils and let us know what it says. We will let you know if it is correct or not.alright thx i guess ill just buy one..so a dual 1 wud read 2, dual 2 = 4, dual 4 = 8?
True, but it won't read the "total" either...it'll read the DCR of whatever coil you have it hooked up to.it should read what the total Ohms are, the meter doesn't know how many voice coils you have.
Of one coil, if he hooks it up to only one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifit should read what the total Ohms are, the meter doesn't know how many voice coils you have.
