These W10GTI subs are a real peice of art

Look how the 10" gti Towers over the Bassworx 12":naughty:

a Crown BPX 2200.1

a 250 amp Iraggi alt

and the Premier 980 Blue tooth... I wanted the next model up but for some

retarded reasen it is un available in Canada

I am building a couple of Test Boxes for a single W10gti to get the

cf3 and tunning I need for the desired effect then I will make the big enclosure

for the 4 of them....

this is going to be a wild enclosure...it's going to be unlike any enclosure

I have ever seen anywhere....going to put my imagination to the test

the PX 600.2 and the 60th anniversary 660gti components will be here

it's the same thing as a for tempo...

all I have to say is SWEET... I loving doing builds in cars worth 1/4 of what the stereo is worth (no I'm not making fun of you...)

actually the Topaz has a 3.2L V6...

but my wife talked me into trading my Topaz for her

Tempo....LOL

the Tempo has a cleaner interior and air conditioning

the back seat is going bye bye.....trust me this install will

be very unique..

I just built my first test box for a single sub...1.60cf3 tunned at 32hz

and I will probably make 3 or 4 more to make shure I got the inner

cf3 and tunning I need for the desired effect I am looking for then

I will do the big enclosure

the amps will be mounted on the enclosure,,,there will be Lexan

and I got a buddy at work that is an INSANE graffity artist

got the deck installed and I'm doing a temporary install for the

BPX so I can test the different enclosures

I tried the 1.60cf3 box with 32hz tunning....

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!! these subs HAMMER....

and the bass is very detailed...money well spent

I am snapping pics as I go

here is my 1993 Ford Tempo....

the head unit is installed....all connections silver soldiered

as you can see the interior is MINT....

I used a Bolt and lock washers to bare shinny metal to ground

the amp...tight as it will go with out stripping it

this is only temporary....the BPX 2200.1 is Bolted to the floor

under the drivers seat...

Pain in the ass the floor has a hump in it so I had to level it out

with some MDF

once I am done the big enclosure for all 4 subs the amp will

have a new home...

here is a snapshot of my first test box....this one is 1.60cf3 plus port

and sub dissplacement tunned at 32hz....

27sq inches of port area

the inside of the kerf cut is fiberglassed and I added another 45*

and filled in the corner by the baffle...

being a test box I only did a single sided flare....

I wanted to take morew pics but my Camera eats batteries like

a mother..more pics coming tomorrow

I left the stalk alt in for now....I have to fab up a bracket

for the Iraggi at work sometime during the next week or two

but I ran a 4 gage line from the alt

out put to the battery....tomorrow I will add another ground from battery -

to the chassie

and if I can figure out how I'll test my camera's video capability...

these Wgti subs are INCREDIBLE...it sounds like a pair of 12"

in the trunk

as soon as the components get here I can start fiberglassing

some pods....

the tweeters have wave guides so I am going to try and fit

them into the install
