Final subwoofer decision thread for me!! Help me end this!!! IDMax or RL-P!!

i was asking myself same quesiton today, 12 XXX (agian) or 15 rlp. which requires teh same size box to port. teh XXX was awesome nice and loud and great sq. but it was time for a change so im gona make this 15 work and it should b a tad bit louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif but eitehr way what i was getting at you will b happy with either. and when i talked to mike today he told me it could handle 1300 but there no need and no reason because it will b pushed to its limits with around 600 rms. but either way u will be happy

^^^^^^^^^ this is why i am pushing the two 12's issue , works out better power wise . and cutlass is right the sub will will lose bottom end in that small of a box .

I disagree with those who said anything above 600 doesnt make a big difference.From my experience, it does. I ran my 2500d at 4 ohms and it was loud, but then I ran it at 1 ohm and it got a LOT louder... But I have only had them for a week or two, Im gonna wire them back down to 4 ohms and play around with them. And my gain is only 1/4 up, my HU is 4.5v pre-out but my voltage drops bad... 225 amp alt on the way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

just out of curiosity , which do you guys think would hit louder and deeper bass ?

my two hx2 10's ported 500rms on ea . or one 12 " rlp 1000 watt sealed in 1.0 cubic foot ?

good price on the sub , I just wonder what kind of spl your gonna get out of it in the tight sealed box , i'm sure sq is gonna be killer , but i think i read somewhere you like rap and i have to wonder what sorta deep bass/spl your gonna get . I would rather see it in a ported box for what your looking for , but hey try it out go from there . good luck playa .
