Final Subwoofer Choices

Okay so I have been thinking of set-ups to replace my single CSS SDX10 subwoofer powered by a Rockford Fosgate t500.1bd. The two options I am considering are:

1) Fi 12" Q ported in a 2.0-2.25 ft^2 ported box

2) Shiva-X2 12", but I am not sure on which enclosure would be good for musical in car response.

The new set-up will be powered by the bridged rear channels of a t1000.4 and will receive about 736 watts. The Shiva-X2 seems to be a more SQ oriented subwoofer, but the Fi Q is also marketed as a SQ subwoofer, so my real issue in deciding which subwoofer to purchase is will the Fi Q really have a noticeable increase in output, and can the Shiva-X2 reach a good output level with loud deep bass in a reasonable sized enclosure.

I would try the shiva just to be different. I have seen no one with any exodus subs. I feel like they are going to become the forum boner. They look more like a home theater sub. But they have a very low Fs and higher then average xmax

Shiva is a true sq driver where he q is a SQL driver. It sounds decent but nothing special nif the shiva can give u the output I want it's easily the better driver

with ur power I would go shiva because the Q will benefit from 1000+ watts

q won't be louder than the shiva off the same power

if U go shiva it's great sealed ported or IB

Why down to those two? They are somewhat different.

Idk they are both somewhat SQ drivers, and I kind of want to try something out of the ordinary. I don't see too many people trying to run exodus subwoofers, and does anyone have any recommendation for a ~2.0 ft^2 box for the shiva I realize that it would probably take a not so ordinary box design to make it sound good in car.

what do u mean about the box for shiva? 1.25-1.75 sealed is nice for it. or did u mean a 2 cubic foot ported box design?

is this your t5001bd? you would be supprised what it can really do @ 1ohm and lower........
