How does this look? Sorry for asking so much but I think this is my final decision and I want to know if it will work out well....

Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P4900IB

Speakers: Infinity Reference 6822cf (4)

Subs: Alpine SWR-1222D (Type R) 12" (2)

Amp: Hifonics BXi 1606D

1) I don't like the sound of Infinity's tweets, but who knows, you might.

2) You're missing an amp for them.

3) There's no reason for four.

2. From what I understood, the head unit powers the speakers....

3. So I should only get 2 for the front? Or maybe instead of 4 I should spend my money on components for the front?

Just go with a set of components, and a 2-channel amp to power them.

I'm not sure why you were only looking at just 6.5's...maybe just to simply replace the factory speakers? Anyways, the h/u power is usually very overrated and is not sufficient to give you the power you'd want for your aftermarket speakers.

^^ word. get a comp set and an amp. im running my comps off of my HU right now until i get an amp and sound no different than my coaxials i had. alot more clarity, but no louder.

Do you think I'll be fine with those speakers just for now? Because I'm getting them installed today with the head unit...(don't have subs and amp yet). Or is it smart to just get components now? Maybe something like this?
