for exterior enhancement.. Clear corners if that's your taste. HID's. Maybe a body kit. Could use some wheels. If none of those get it running better. Intake and a quiet exhayst. What kind of engine have you got? And what's it make now?

Guys, sorry to thread steal, but how do you get sound deading behind the front layer of panel that the speaker is mounted to? To where it actually is on like the back of the actual door? Like in that pic of the big door where there is a big hole where there is sound deadening on the inner layer of the door, how do you get sound deadening all over the inner layer? It looks like you'd only be able to sound deaden behind that hole

Well, the only engine upgrades i would do would be to save gas. I got the 4 banger for that one reason. If i was going for something quick i wouldnt have gone with a solara. I dont even know what kind of power it makes, maybe like 125hp with a 4cyclinder automatic. Not much fun to drive around except for listening to music.

Use MS paint or something to hide your plate, that or just take the picture down.

Thanks for the compliments, i dont even have MS paint or i would edit. I just dont know what someone could possibly do with my plate number.

Get rid of that side molding crap lol. If you can that is... If you can't I vote you take it to a body shop and have them shave it off. I think that would look real nice. Side moldings make cars look cheap...

im sorry i dont know what you are talking about.... What is the side molding

EDIT: NVM you are talking about the small trim piece running in the middle of he car all the way down the side. Yeah i dont know if that will come off or not and if it does i think it would leave something nasty in its place.

intake dosen't really save much more gas. Exhaust will help a bit but at least get a quiet one. Normally tuners save some gas. Adjust timing and whatnot.

haha you say at least get a quiet one as if i would even consider buying a coffee can. I LOL at that, but you dont know me. Yeah i will need to do some research on what exhaust system would provide the best MPG increase.

Well i did some work on my substage so i am going to post up a few more pictures of what i have going on now. I will carpet everything in the trunk with gray carpet. I plan on adding more deadener to the doors and everywhere else. Other than that i am not quite sure what other upgrades ill consider. I am going more for a clean look with good quality. SPL does not mean much to me anymore.

I like it, a simple setup with some good processing up front and plenty of deading in those doors. With all that ID equiptment in there it should sound amazing.

thanks man. I really like the sound i am getting. My only problem is the 4th channel is blown on my SS 405 so i have the 3rd running both my mids so my T/A is not in action at the moment. I also get a little interference now out of my mids because they are both on the same channel. I am looking to get a difference 5ch. amp doing about 50x4@4, 100x4@2, 250-500x1@1 or 4.

I dont know what happened to my amp. When i first hooked it up it the 4th channel didnt work. I turned the volume up and it cut on and worked for the next day or so. It cut out again and i turned up the volume and it began again. I finally tested the connection and i dont get any output. I imagine it is a simple fix because i was working. Maybe something is just loose?? I dont have the knowledge or ability to fix it so i am looking for a trade or just one to buy outright.
