Final Check before I by my First Amps (Cadence ZRS)

1. Do these amps match my sub/components?

ZRS-C65 (monoblock)...............600w at 4ohm

12' SSA DCON sub....................300w at 4ohm (DVC)

ZRS-1502 (2 channel)...............150w at 4ohm

Morel Tempo Components..........80w at 4ohm

2. Is the ZRS series good quality? I've done some browsing and have seen mostly positive reviews.

3. Do I need to worry about votlage rating of the amps?

 

4. Is it okay the amps put out much more power than my sub/components?

1. That amp will give you head room which is a good thing provided you tune properly.

2. ZRS is one of their top lines. Their top lines where from a long time ago. The A7HC Ultrashock which was replaced with the Daytona, the Z series Ultrashocks, and their Poisons.

3. You always have to worry about voltage.

4. It is as long as you tune your gains properly they should be fine.

I have a ZRS-C65 powering an RE SE-X 10'' right now. I haven't heard a lot of amps unlike most people on here, but I can say that this amp puts out clean power. I still have my gains lower than what it should be. I will run it at 2 ohms in the near future. Like you I did a lot of research on this amp before buying. So far I can say that it is a step or two above most mainstream amps but not quite on par with my friends Sundowns.

I run the ZRS C65 at 2 ohms on 2 Sundown Sa 12s...and I run the ZRS C9 (4 channel amp) on my ID components.....Sounds great and havent had any problems what so ever
