cut the box in half then glass it together a couple inches appart

the pole vent does have room, you guys arent picturing this right. Its an XXX, so its an edge of the magnet thats hitting pretty high up on the back...the pole vent is smack dab in the middle, as you guys know, so it has at least 1/2" before the back, possibly more and a couple inches before the bottom, so I'd say thats better than you are picturing

Well I am just going off the pictures, so all I can tell is that the basket is grey and youre hitting somewhere, cant even see the rest of the box.

At this point its going to be a serious headache to fix, or not be as cosmetically appealing.

we will see how my little plan worked out tomorrow, I guess a big part of fabrication and customizing is problem-solving, so thats the fun process im in right now.

take a pic of the inside, because we dont know whats going on...

prolly just need to cut that piece out and do somthing different...

bro its not a huge problem....these guys are just talkin shit....if all u gotta do is raise the sub 1/8 of an inch or so then your still in good shape can still look pimp....just take your time when fixing it and you still got a kick *** box and a sub that actually fits //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

If the back of the sub is hitting then wouldnt you want alittle more clearance than 1/4" incase of alittle flexing in the box?

I'd try to use some MDF to give a nice smooth mounting surface for the sub.
