Fiberglass Questions

I'm going to be flush mounting tweeters in my A-Pillars. (They are ribbon tweets not round 1'' like normal so the "rings" will be about twice as big as normal)

I'm going to make pods for my 6 1/2'' mids in each door.

And I'm going to build a new case for my CarPC out of fiberglass. (It'll use about the same space as a 2ft^3 sub box)

Approximately how much, and what kind of resin/mat will I need? I'm familiar with the procedure of glassing, but I don't know anything about the weight/type of mat and the type of resin.

Start with 1 gallon, you can always pick up more. Just go to autozone and pick up some bondo brand mat and resin. Swing by walmart or a fabric store and pick up some fleece, it will save money as opposed to using straight up mat, plus its strong as hell.

Well I planned on stretching fabric and soaking with resin to make a mold for everything, but I'm going to lay some mat over it for strength.

I've also heard that bondo brand is crap and that I should order from US composites because it's better and cheaper.

Then again...the people that told me that are experts and very experienced and capable of knowing the difference. Maybe I'll start on the door pods with some cheap local stuff and see how it goes.
