Had a q15 in 4cubes at 29hz and honestly didn't like it. It had decent lows, lacked upper end output and just didn't get that loud.

I have a 15Q in a 3.2 tuned to about 32 and it sounds pretty good, going to build a lil bigger box and tune it to around 35 though. Add the bp option if you want more power handling.

You could probably get alot more help on fi's forum but im pretty sure with the bp option it raises the rms to aroun 1200-1300, know alot of people that run 1500 to their q's but make sure u have a good electrical and set ur gains right.

see i am planning to run one off of an ed nine.1, which is 1200w@12.5v and about 1400w@14v

I have a 12" in 2.5@32 and it's loud on the lows thats for sure

Think you should be fine with the Q and the bp option long as u set ur gains correctly.

it does get quite loud given the right power and enclosure. the sub is decently accurate. but i still don't like it enough to keep it for long. currently have the 12" Q.
