FI Q or JL W7? Help me decide...

My cousin's going away for base training and he wanted to sell me his 12 inch JL W7 and 12 FI Q. He has the JL w7 for almost a year now and still look as good as new. For his FI Q, it is still brand new in the box and hasn't been use, yet. He is selling them for $300.00 each. Which one would you suggest? I've heard the W7 and it sounds pretty clean, better than my Duals.

W7 for that price. I have never heard a Q so I couldn't say. But I am sure you could get more than 300 for the W7 on eBay if u decide to sell... And it better sound better than your duals! They retail for like 600 each...

I have also heard nothing but good about the Q. In fact I have one on its way. As far as price, you can get a new 15" FI Q for 309.47 shipped. So I wouldnt pay the 300 for it. Maybe 250ish.

w7 for that price... never heard a Q personally but if they can be had new for 309... u cant really go wrong trying the w7 and if u dont like it..,sell it and buy your own Q lol and i would hope those high quality subs would sound a whole lot better than duals ... if not something is really wrong

i'd keep the Q and sell the W7, you'll get more money for the W7 than the Q. the Q is a great all around sub but there is no way you're gonna get $300 for a 12" as they are brand new from Fi for $250 after shipping. make some extra money and keep the Q.

i just got rid of an FI Q 15. i would take it ALL day over a w7. but for the price hes asking i would just buy your own from fi. and for a little bit more money you can get a 15 or 18 Q.

so if i was you, take your money and buy a brand new fi Q from FIcaruadio.com

Make sure if you pick the W7 you can get a amp for its stupid Ohm needs if you want to get its full potential
I have love'd all of my Q's, but they read weird also. My current Q reads 1.6 on each coil, for a total ohm load of 3.3...
