Ok, i am looking for a new system for a new car, i just got a 91 dodge dynast for my 16th bday and i dont want to transfer my 15" L7's from my dads car b/c he like them alot. im looking for something ALOT louder and to sound better and im DEFINATELY going with FI soplease no other suggestions. i want the know what the best setup would be with the appropriate tuning and power. i have a 1000 dollar limit for subs so this is waht i came up with...it will most likely be walled off no matter what setup...

Ok, as i stated above it will be with appropriate(recommended)power and tuning/box size...i am looking for MAINLY spl but retain good quality...

SPL=80%

SQL=20%

You won't have enough room to put more than 1 18" woofer in a Dodge Dynasty.

As i stated above it will be walled off from about 6-12 inches from the driver/passenger seats, it will go the entire back length of the car including going INTO the trunck...and it is a 4 door so its pretty long.

the most output will mostly come from the BL's because of the motor / cone area, but i guess it really boils down to the airspace/amp

i meant that i was going to put the amps and batt. in the trunck, i thought the other guy meant that i was going to put EVERYTHING in the car, the wall will replace the bcack seats so its flush and if i get really serious i might weld the back doors shut.

I vote for the 4 18"s... More cone area FTW. What kind of power do you have?

I voted for 4 18s.....dk if itd be louder or not but itd look sicker imo

Good Luck.....might be better to go with 12s or 15s though honestly..if rooms a question

If your limit is 1000 for subs I hope you have a couple of grand saved up for the electrical work.....

4 18" ssd's have the most potential for output given sufficient electrical and proper enclosure.
