I got three choices of subs, which one is the best! all around the same price!

Hey, I'm redoing my audio system in my explorer, only looking for 2 high wattage 10" subs! I listen to mostly rap and techno, and sometime punk. I like alot of bass but also a clear sound in quality as well!

Heres my three top choices: which is best?

thanks for the quick response, but what makes the kicker one better then the rest, Im in this learning stage of car audio now. Just wondering. I got a 1000 watt amp and 2000 watt amp so i thought the pioneer ones would hit the hardest, with the ouput they bring out!

Highest power handling doesn't make one pair of subs better than another pair. It's really hard for me to decide which is best in your case as I haven't heard those specific Rockford and Pioneer subs, but you can't go wrong with a pair of CVR's, IMO.

2. Legacy blue audio amp....2000 watts.. dont know much about this one

What the subs or the amps? The sony will do 1000watts mono and 2 x 500 when channel in 2.

The legacy is 2000watt amp. Ill be able to power the subs at its max. Thats not the problem, im just looking for which is the better sub, i narrowed it down to the pioneer and kicker.. which one?

no it is the problem. Your amps will not do rated power.

I guess i'll be buying another amp as well! So what is a good amp at a good price that can power 2 of either one of these subs to its max power.

Neither the Sony, nor the Legacy will give you ANYWHERE NEAR the max power.

The sony will give you more, or about the same power as the Legacy.

Sony will give ~500rms bridged, if lucky. Same the the Legacy.

Pay NO attention to MAX or PEAK wattage.

The ONLY wattage that matters, for speaker/subs/amps is RMS or CONTINUOUS power.

I had that sony and it sucked, 165 x 2 RMS if you are lucky! I had an alpine MRP-M650, Eclipse XA-1000 and now a JL 500/1. I will never buy anything but JL from now on unless someone gives me something else to try.
