Active Noise Control?!
I told you that because when you run something that low you are attempting to put more current, than voltage into the coil...the amplifier also does that as well.I was talking too FI CAR AUDIO through myspace a while back. Anyways, I remember asking them dudes that I wanted to put 2 15 BTL's, 1 amp for each woofer that runs stable @ .5 ohms for each dual 1 ohm btl 15. They kept on suggesting that this wasnt recommendable because I might burn the woofer or blow itand I have heard the oposite here on CA
that it'll be fine:crap: or that my amp might burn and that the life span of the sub will be shorter than normal

Current is the driving force in electricity, it also induces a LOT of heat into the system. So EVERYTHING will run hotter.
Don't do it, if you are daily driving do not do it.
