I had an issue with a Fi subwoofer a long time ago. Failed within 10 seconds of playing, so I sent it back to them to check out. Blamed it on me, quit returning my emails, and was only able to get a response through their forum. Finally got the repaired subwoofer back over a month later.FYI - I sent a link to this post to my contact at Fi to allow them to justify their stance and to be fair. I disagree with talking about someone "behind their back". They have their reasons and are welcome to share.
The moral of the story is, Fi doesn't like to replace subwoofers. They make a nice product most of the time, but if you have issues with it, be prepared to fight for that warranty.
