well, i'm pretty sure i'm going to get this 97 explorer XLT. This is going to be my vehicle for a while, and i want to put some cash into it. Want to know what you guys recommend for wiring, alt, batts, deadning, I'm going to be running a modded mtx 1501d on a single XXX 15 for right now, will be upgrading in the near future though. As for wiring i was thinking about this kit, http://knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KOL-AK0 . and altenator i requested a quote from hoalternators.com , awaiting a response on that. batts, i was thinking a optima yellowtop or two in the back. and deadning i was thinking of going with a second skin product. this vehicle will be used in dome dbdrag, but also a daily driver. opinions wanted. thanks.

i wouldnt get optima batts...id either go with odyssey or SVR

if im not mistaken you can get like 160amp from like advanced...or go to iraggi or excessive amperage for more than that

the xxx15 will definatly sound good in the explorer

Edit: just read you requested a quote from HO they're good too, i'd get a quote from all three and go from there personally
