Got 4 old xtant amps that I'm wondering if anyone wants. I have a 404m, 603x, and 2 403a's. 1 of the 403a's is blown, dunno whats wrong with it. 404m has 2 hi pass crossover cards.

bump again. tested and one of the 403s is bust. pictures later tonight

Here are pictures of the amps. The 403a in the upper right is the blown one. Also, I had to end up scavenging screws from it as the working 403 and the 603 were missing a couple of their own. All the other amps powered on and played just a test speaker hooked up to it. Cases are in really good shape, no big scratches or anything. Most of the marks in the pictures are from my greasy hands.

Here's the guts of the blown 403a. Also showing the missing screws. This amp had blown before. All but 2 of the original caps were replaced and there was one resistor that had some smoke on it. I dont really know whats wrong with it because i didnt thoroughly test it, but it definitely could use some love.

The 603 and the working 403 are both missing 2 long allen bolts to fully mount the top to the baseplate, but these were standard looking and could probably be easily replaced.

The 404 was the last amp I hooked up. Worked fine and had my ID oem driver hooked up to it freeair. That thing can get pretty f'in loud on 50 watts!

Are these things good.. I have a Xtant 121M but never used an Xtant not even sure where I got it. lol

The older xtant stuff is supposed to be good. They got bought out by mitek in 96. From just testing these amps they sounded really clean and were flexible. Based on what I've read the M line looks like it was mtx design and built, while the X and A were xtant designed.

lol im assuming you're saying that because of my past ebay sales. I think ive sold a good 25 or so last yr and honestly that hasn't put much if any dent in the pile i have. they are awesome amps
