tig welding.Well welding could work if you know what you are doing.But most welders can't weld aluminum (which is what the basket is)
But you would have to be VERY careful if welding it as to not fuck up the surround or something else.
Honestly I wouldn't recommend it if you aren't good at welding already.
Try the claim first, Then if you can't get the money back jb weld might be the best option.

It looks like they don't really know how to ship heavy things.
tig welding.if that is aluminum it is not weldable with the cone assembled into it, aluminum conducts heat so well that most, if not all the surround would be melted by the time it was finished.i would file the ins. claim
extremely hard.have u ever welded aluminum?yes a tig is needed but u will not keep it from melting the surround
