I'm planning on buying a set of RF Fanatic X 2514 Component Speakers from a website for $149. Is it a good deal, or you know a better set of components for that price range?

I would like something that has good bass.

if you are buying a componet system, you dont buy it for the bass, you buy a componet system for the sound quality and the loudness. in order to get bass you would have to get a subwoffer.

Those would be a good choice of components, but like he said you get much bass from them. 5 1/4 speakers aren't made to produce bass at any kind of volume. They are for midrange.

If you want to add some bass cheap get an 8" or 10" sub and hook up 100W to it. You can do that for about 150 bucks.
