F150 tweeter placement

Over the break I will be installing all the stuff I have acquired over this semester. Im upgrading my 5 1/4 comp set to a 6 1/2 comp set. Im not to sure if I can fit the woofer and tweeter behind my stock grill (approx 6x9) so I was thinking about just putting the woofer behind the grill and the tweeter some place else. It'll be flush mounted and I can get pictures later but for those who already have experience with tweeter placement on the doors what was best?

Thats what I was thinking but I think the driver and passenger sides have different angles and I want to use flushmounts. I forgot to mention my truck is a 97

Most of the flush mounts have a rotating cup, which allows angle correction. Is your 97 the same as a 99 or the same as a 95? 1997 was a split year for the Ford truck.

its the same as a 99 but I believe that the door panels are a little different. Ill be using a DRT-25 tweeter which I dont think has a rotating cup.

You know how to fiberglass? If so you could build up the panel to match the angles.

I've never fiberglassed before but Im not sure if i want to go that far yet. Ill have to look at those panels some more and see how bad they are off by.
