These are S2 or S4 mine was a S2, you can pull the voice coil right out the front 6 screws it comes out. You can order a new one from Boston for $70 and it slides right in can be D4 or D2.

what is the rms wattage on it? Is that the normal center on those subs? I thought the dust cap said boston on it.

Some do, some don't know why.. Not sure on rms I am sure it's on there site it was like this when I got it..
