These are S2 or S4 mine was a S2, you can pull the voice coil right out the front 6 screws it comes out. You can order a new one from Boston for $70 and it slides right in can be D4 or D2.

There sick little subs, I got this one and was told it was working and never got to check it until later then found the VC was bad. It was not blown it not even dark it had something on it like a drop of glue and when I tried to get it off it just messed the coil up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I think I am just going to order the coil for it and sell it new working as, I thought someone would just jump on it being as the coils just unbolt slid out and slid a new one it.

They sound great, I would say it's a great SQ sub.. It would be cool if someone made a SPL sub with a coil like this one so you can just unscrew it and put in a new one if it blows. Does not solve all the issues but at least if it's just a coil issue it's a 5 min fix.. lol
