yes a wedge, but because the subs will be tilted up slightly, it gives you more breathable area in the rear. this will aloow you to bring your sub closer to the rear wall of the box. this way you can play with more deminsions

o ok I get what you saying and yes you can but in order to get the 3 cubes he either needs to go the way I said or build a box that is 42W x maybe 16-17 H x 2-3TD x 11BD and have the top of the box step in to compensate for the support beam.

I was looking at 55W x 13H x 11 BD x 9 TD.

Here is an EXTREMELY rough concept sketch of the box, I lettered the measurements which I don't know and I can't be bothered doing the mathematical aspect of.

If anyone can get me a rough air capacity and mounting depth of a box like that.

Linkage

That box is formed around the behind the seat area so that it actually forms into the back wall, taking up all available space. Since there is an indention in the back wall that is roughly. 13 inches high.

This box will be constructed out of 3/4 MDF board and also it will be probably covered by....either carpet or roll-on bedliner...

I put a 15" cvr in a reg cab RANGER. So you should be good.

I did some remeasuring...

The support beam is roughly 14 1/2" from the base, the seat can go up to rougly 20-21" inches and still have the TD clearance of 7"'s and that is with the seat in a comfortable position, the support beam is 2" deep.

you did measure from the back of the support beam on the wall and not the front right? It slants down to what I thought was 13 1/2
