yup FOR SHOW FTW! having it for performance will end up getting to hectic. like wat expy says, that's why we have dbdrag, meca, nspl etc. to measure out the performance of the sub to hit a certain sound pressure level.

Zero comps. in my area.

Besides, so many variables.It'd be nice just to see who the loudest/best sounding is with a controlled install.

Pick a predetermined woofer, have a class for Functionality (SQ/SPL) and have a class for looks / build quality.

So all the competitors could do what they do and see who can make that sub the loudest in their box. And have the other i dont wanna say more craftsmanship (lol wheres teh thesaurus when i need it) type people build for looks / quality...

Actually TX is a 4 to 5 day lane for CA and a 4 day lane for NY and any other east cost area (except Maine).

I am definatly interested. I am basically in texas (shreveport LA, 20 min. from the texas line and about 3 hours from dallas. I am offering my services if need be. also who determines what sub will be used? Maybe if one of the judges has a one off sub that no one else has (maybe Team Pwnage can throw a frakenwoofer together) because (I dont mean to point you out Potts) if a subwoofer like the Type R were used Mark and TCAB would have a huge advantage because of the extensive testing and work they have with the woofer. At all possible I think the subwoofer should be one that no one in the contest has built a box for yet.
