i have a 97 expedition that im making a box for. I want to still be able to use as much trunk space as possible though. If possible, i want to be able to put down the twoseat middle row so i can put really long stuff in there and put the enclosure behind the remaining single middle row seat. But, would having the enclosure on one side of my exppy make the accoustics wierd?

thats good to know! thanks for the response. Then i will build my enclosure on one side of my trunk. From what ive read ported and facing back is the best way to go. Ill try to get some demensions of how wide that space is. I was thinking of ontop of the enclosure i would have both of my amps, but put them in like a plexiglass box (With fans so they dont overheat)

i was thinking, hwo about two thin (but tall/wide) enclosures each with one sub and one amp on both sides of the trunk? that way i would have the middle nice and open and have it symmetrical in the back?

and ill try to stealth in the amps so its not eyecandy for theifs (wouldent be hard to break into a 97 exppy

im not sure yet. i have no clue whats the skinniest i can make the box or anything

EDIT: you know what, ill just do the easy route and build one in middle. i dont need all that trunk space. So i jsut need demensions on a 2 type r sub ported
