what's the fusing on the amp? is it more than 160 - (whatever the car draws) in amp?

to have the alternator provide enough current(and stay at 14.x volts), you have to be able to provide more amperage than you will use... car + audio

If not, a 2400 will keep it right at 12.x.

i don't rely on my alternator to keep up with current draw, I keep 2 kinetiks in the car.

how many amps was the stock alternator? The manf. usually provides an alt that can accomodate(sp) all accessories being used, so your car won't draw more than that.

100A fuse and 2400 RMS?

you should be fine with what you've got.

I dont know stats on stock but my cadence dims and its 1500. Yea the fuse is 200 think I maz spend the extra 100 and get the mean green just to be sure.

for daily, i only drop to the kinetik 12.6 voltage. you might try googling mad electrical. they have some interesting ways to get better car electrical. i'll look for the link.
