Enough electrical for 6krms?

I would ask my friend with the 8 12s but hes running his on stock electrical with no extra batts and only two runs of cheap 1/0g wire. so to safely run these amps you are saying I will need a quad 300alt setup....... that doesnt make too much sense to me

highly doubtful that he's running it at one ohm total (maybe 1 ohm per channel) on stock electrical with an extra battery and upgraded front battery and 2 runs of kicker hyperflex i still drop to 12v with an AQ2200 @ .7ohm. so i dont see how that amp would even survive.

he is running it at 1ohm load before rise stock 140amp alt, no extra batts and two runs of install bay 1/0g and has been running it this way for a good while now, it drops below 12v but still runs like a champ and doesnt even get that warm

doubt with impedence rise that amps sees less than 2 ohms then. even tho an amp doesnt get hot or warm dont mean the amp can be pushed like that for long.

you didnt get what i was saying, even if your running .6 ohm and you know itll be 1 ohm after rise its alwasy best to build up enough electrical for .6 ohm, like i said prepare for the worst.

Impedance rise isn't linear. the only way it can be accurately calculated is at one frequency at one point in time in one certain vehicle at one input power. when music is playing, the impedance will jump between very low and very high values. talk of impedance rise in a daily setup is pointless.

A 250-300 amp alt plus 4 big batts(HC2400, big Sprinter or C&D, etc) in the back will work fine. You'll never drop below 12V with that much battery storage, so long as you're playing music and not constant tones for minutes on end.
