Enclosure Build: Simple, small, sealed 10"

I think what the guy meant by Double baffle, was flush mount.
Which with that box, a flush mount baffle would make it even nicer.
...you kind of have to double-layer to countersink //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif lol

Pioneer~Saturn, great work. I have seen 1 or 2 other builds and they look great. I have a noob question-do you glue, clamp, pre-drill, dry and then screw the box together in that order? And how long does it take for the glue to dry?

There's a couple different approaches on this. I glue and clamp first, let the glue cure for 24 hrs, than drill and screw. I prefer to wait until the glue dries before attempting to drill and screw, just to make sure I don't knock anything out of alignment, IMO.

Thanks. And I lay a bead of glue down, put the 90-degree clamps on both ends of the panel to be attached, tighten down a couple of the larger clamps, predrill, screw together, then unclamp and move on

add me 1x
Wow, 59X agreed. I don't think I've ever had so many agree in a two page thread lol. A lot of Meade haters //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I personally don't hate Meade, he seems like a cool enough guy and it is a nice system. I just hate the people that think he's god and drop his name on Youtube comments and think they know everything there is to know about car audio.

Countless time you'll see a youtube vid with an average car/trunk build with two 12's in a ported box (pretty much run of the mill) and no doubt, some cocksucker will come by and drop a comment like "SHIT DON'T BANG LIKE MEADES LOLOLOLOL"... at which point I have to restrain myself from just smashing my computer screen in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

If he can't make clean cuts with that tablesaw, he doesn't belong in a wood shop. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Thanks guys. Hopefully I will get something done this wkend. Wanna start simple and do a sealed box like the one in this thread(Hopefully as good). And then maybe do a vented one if I get bored with the bass. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
