Yea, you could definitely pump out enclosures quickly but I still dont see thin pieces of metal being shot into mdf being as strong of a hold as glued, screwed together, and then clamped between each screw..I just couldnt see the pressure on the joint being as strong..

I never used to think so either, but as long as you have square cuts and use a sufficient amount of glue.

What really sold me on it was when I spent a few weekends at Scottie Johnson's years and years ago... built a box for a single 15"... good for 152.3 dB legal with glue and a brad nailer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Nice, I will definitely have one in the future and if not for anything else it'll be for nailing 45's in the corners of ports and other things...but I'll for sure try out some enclosures made just with the nails and glue when I get a compressor and stapler/nailer
