This is an enclosure i'm building for Beatkeeper1.. Because of the glue-only joints, and the cold weather, it's going to be a little slow..

Yea, I've got a small heater, but it's not too efficient.. I have the same heater you do at work, I need to bring it home //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Thanks guys

Small update. The weather's been crazy lately, an average of 10 degrees or so. Keep in mind, my currently non-insulated workspace likes to stay about 10 degress colder than outside temps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Anyways, got the side cut for the carpet and put it on.

More this weekend, depending on weather.. Apologies for the slow progress.

Why does it look like there's a big gap between the pieces?
they cut a groove out so there is some where to make a good covering seem that will not pull apart.(so you can tuck the carpet in it). good work if you ask me. BUT i still dont see why all these people are not using screws anymore.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

I guess if it's not a high powered system it should do fine

Building a box this week I am hoping since the wood is in my living room. What is the size router bit you guys are using to make the groove for the carpet???? And how deep is it? Oh and looking nice man.

^.25" straight-bit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And you just plunge it in a bit at a time and take a few passes, each time doing about a .25" of material and it'll be fine.

And lookin good, ink //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
