Enabling AUX IN on old Eclipse head unit

I have an older eclipse hu (CD3413 I think) and purchased a cd changer cord with a 13pin connector and 2 female rca jacks so I could hook my ipod up...

Well, the cord fits and all... but I can't figure out for the life of me how to switch to aux... I've searched around but haven't found an answer yet. Can't find any of the older cd model manuals online either.

If anybody can guide me in the right direction it'd help.
