It would seem to me that the kv2 has the edge over the shiva in terms of displacement Mr Wiggins. In my opinion on the kv2 vs shiva they are really 2 different types of design. Either one not being right or wrong just different.

I don't understand why ED gets such a bad rap, or least doesn't get better publicity. I realize I'm just one person with one ED E12K, but I've pounded the crap out of mine for over 2 1/2 years now and it sounds every bit as good as it did from day one and I haven't had a lick of problems with it. It's wihtout a doubt the best sub I've ever had. It's very efficient in small enclosures, and the sound is very tight and controlled. I just can't remember if the E12K has a SVC or a DVC, and I can't find the spec sheet on it. I'm hoping it has a DVC because I'd like bridge both mono outputs of my 4 channel amp into the sub. I've heard this thing really sounds good with 500-600 watts.
