yeah im going to be running 2 Massive audio P3000.1's at 2 ohms each. Minimum nominal power from both total will be 5500 watts roughly. Like the title says what do i need as far as electrical upgrades go?

Each amp draws about 200amps, or thats what it says it draws in the manual.

so thats about 400 amps total

This is my guess:

1 High Output 300amp alt minimum

3 Kinetik HC 2400's, or batterys with like characteristics

Would this be sufficient? Give me your complete Opinions

lol too.

To make that kind of power when the vehicle is off, you'll need batteries.

To make that kind of power when the vehicle is on, you'll need an alternator and batteries.

yeah quite a few kinetik 2400s mixed with a HO alt and the big 3 done in, IMO, 4/0 gauge wiring should be good

the kinetik estimator should give you a ROUGH estimate as what to stay around, but expect it to be more than you need

2-3 2400's.some people say it is overkill but also depends on how you use the system. i have seen swelled up batteries from about every popular make due to being "too small" for what it is used for. sure some people can and do use a group 34 to help power 2000+ watt systems and im sure some get away with it but i know many dont as well lol
