Electrical upgrades for 1500w rms

Well my car has 45k miles on it and it's pretty much been parked since April of 2010, so it's still in pretty good shape under the hood. I would assume the alternator would still be in good shape too. And I bought the MB Quart ONX1.1500D, so I wouldn't call it expensive lol.
I'll do the big 3 for now.

And mine has 51k. That really doesnt matter. Each car requires a different amount of power, and each car will have a different stock battery.

What do your volts sit at idle, then with max AC and brights on? When you get the stuff installed, keep checking the volts as you up the gains and see what happens.

great thread..... im also aiming for 1500wrms & stocked up on all the gear needed for the big three.

but by the sounds of it i'll try it without the big three done, my car has a 120A alt..... it'll save a big headache if i dont need it!!

Well I looked at my wires and they are 2 gauge. Would these be fine with my amp or should I upgrade to the 1/0? The battery to alternator is going to be a PITA because my car came factory with the battery in the back :/
