Hey guys. I am going to be puttin a jl audio 1000/1 amp and a 13w7 in my car in a few days. It's going in the trunk of a 2005 acura tl if that helps any. Anyways, here's my question:

What electrical upgrades(battery, amp, etc.) Would I need to keep my system performing at best and to keep the lights from dimming?

In a few more months I plan on adding another 1000/1 and a 13w7 also. So should I upgrade everything to handle the total future upgrade as well? Thanks for any input. I appreciate it!

Well...PERSONALLY...I repeat PERSONALLY...I would hook it up first and see what happens with your FIRST sub and amp. At a minimum do the Big 3 (search it on this forum).

Once you bring that other on sub and amp board I would do a new alt FOR SURE followed by a yellow top. With that much going on you might want to invest in some sound deadener because your system will sound good at a certan level its all "good vibrations" from there. Looks like you got the dough so do it right and let us know how it turns out.

yeah definately run 1/0 to the back of the car to a distrobution block to the 1000/1's. Do the big 3 (bat + to alt +, bat - to frame, frame to engine block... look it up), and after you get another 1000/1, definately look into a yellowtop, and maybe a second one in the trunk.
