I'm getting ready to install my system in a few weeks and I'm starting to worry my electrical system won't handle it. I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 180amp alternator. I don't know what the stock battery is but I am installing a Kinetic HC 1800 Blu. I'll be using a RF DSR-1 DSP, FSD 2600.1 to power 2 XFL 12s wired at 1 ohm, Soundstream TN4 900.4 to power active UN65s and TST-1 inch tweeters. I'm also considering adding a TN2 600.2 to run some mid base 6.5s (ssa evils) in the rear. The monoblock will be installed with 1/0 CCA wire and the speaker amps will have 4 gauge. I'm installing the new battery with a relay and 2/0 welding wire. I asked my local shop about the big 3 and they said it wasn't worth the trouble in my vehicle because the battery is under the passenger seat?
Cna anyone reinforce or rebuke that statement? And will I have enough power for my setup?
My future goal is to run two 15s or one 18 so I plan on upgrading the alternator but that's a year or two down the line.
