I am sure I will have a pow-wow with @double 07; in the near future as to what he recommends. I would like a new alt and a big 3 kit and a battery... going to run at least 600 I think.

I'm sure even a 270a would be plenty sufficient. But you'll definitely need some sort of battery in the rear for a buffer. Those JL amps are current hogs.

Through Singer, Tenney, Excessive Amperage, Ohio Gen, and DC Power, the biggest any of them could build you was 165a?

i didnt read it all but 700 from each slash is 1400 so there you looking at 120ish amps of draw. if those mcintoshes pull 80 or under id say your fine

I'll throw a few batt's in the back at a bare minimum and see how she does. No point in going crazy, its an older car.

The 6 channel mc is fused at 70. So hopefully it'll work out. I might need to save up if I need a big electrical upgrade.
