Electrical needs...

Thanks man, that 80prs is feature packed... the p99rs doesn't even have bluetooth...Right now I have a Mcintosh MCC404m (100w x 4) and a MCC302 (600w x 1 @ 4 ohm).

I was curious if companies were offering the whole package batt, alt... all of the above yes.

I will pick up some meters for the rear of the vehicle as well, thanks for the tip!
I don't even use bluetooth. I'll trade you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Those are nice amps. You're not getting rid of those are you?

I don't think companies offer a total package like that, but it's easy enough to piece together. Just some 1/0ga wire and terminals for the big 3, and whatever sized battery you can fit in your compartment. You should probably take some measurements and be sure.

And the meter I have at the front of the car, and run wires to the rear, for clarification.

I am not 100% on what I will do with the 404m and the 302... I was toying with the idea of moving them into the fience's car, since I will be the primary driver on her car when she is away. (She is going to Afghanistan for a contract postition.) Right now she has the p.o.s. "Boston Premium Sound" in her 300c. It is Chryslers upgraded sound package and its kind of a joke imho...

Yeah, chances are you will regret getting rid of them if you do down the line if you stay in this hobby. Plus, she'll like it.

I think she will... I had the opportunity to get 2 of the 302's for $700 total and passed because I wasnt planning on running dual subs. I really kicked myself later for that.

I was also running a little low on funds at the time :/

Lol, well I cant get enough of that clean A/B power... Thermo dynamics is going to get the best of me again!

:p yeah i run a mechman 240amp full tilt on my setup im hitting 12.8-13v at idle . crusin with any kind of rpms going i dont go down below 13.8 im running 3400batts kidna wished i would have dropped the cash on some d3100's but my voltage stays pretty well . if you could fit yah a 3400 under the hood and a few big batts like d3100's with big 3 im sure you would be fine
hey west i bet if you go to soundsolutionsaudio.com, buy some wire, a mechman alt, and some xs batteries all at once @denim ; will get you a multi item discount. just some thought.
I appreciate it man! I'll give them a look.

Definitely get the Big 3 done. It's cake work. AudioTechnix sells kits for it, as does Ryan (RAM).

As for HO Alts.... My first choices would be Singer and Tenney. And after that I'd look at Excessive Amperage and Ohio Generator. And then finally DC Power. I've heard of/seen a few bad dealings and DOA alts from Mechman for it to be worth the risk to me if it was my money. Although when they do work, I've only heard great things. And the alot company to avoid like the plague is Iraggi.

Well I wrote Singer a message, hopefully he can hook me up. Any idea how many amps I should shoot for?

Would it hurt if I went with a 320 A alt?

you shouldnt need anymore than a 270 at most for your setup as long as your planning on running a big bat in the trunk or 2
