electrical inefficiencies

ok right now i have a 160a alt with 4awg wire

standard *** battery

60a inline fuse

1600w amp 740wrms to my 15 rl-p with 4awg wire

ok. so my system varies in loudness and my sub is no where as loud as it was some weeks ago. i know somewhere im getting insufficient electricity. i would like some suggestions on what it may be.

i may just go buy a yellow top tommorrow if that will fix it. or would i be better off fiding a high amperage fuse so far i have yet to locate a local store. just radio shack that has the 60a im currently using. ive read about other ppl using 150a fuses. i have a round fuse.

If your fuse isnt blowing, its fine. The voltage drop across a fuse will not be noticable to ears.
