What electrical for a crunch gp 3k pro at .5 ohm? I currently have 2 power runs, all grounds to the frame, big three, 250 ah of battery and the stock 90 amp alt. Going to upgrade to a 240 amp alt before I switch amps. Currently holding 13.3v at the lowest on music with 2k at 1 ohm and a 400 watt amp on my mids and highs. Will a 240 amp alt be enough to hold +13v?

Should be fine..run 2 neg runs from front to back they are as important as the power runs...i run a total of 5k on a 240a alt and 290ah of battery with 2 runs of pos and neg ..i charge at 14.9 and drop to 14.2 full tilt

Was reading that the chassis was a good enough ground for 4k and under. That was my next question, was also looking at an ab 450.1, so with an alt I should be able to hold 13+ volts?

Yea get the biggest alt that fits..and get it externally regulated if ur car doesnt charfe at 14.5-14.6..the ab450.1 is pretty much same amp i run

Awesome! Gotcha on the neg runs. It charges 14.2 hot and 14.9 cold
