2 12" RE SE 12's being powered by an audiopipe 1800.1@ 1 ohm. The fronts are 6.5" MB Quart Refference series powered by a DEI 60x2 Extreme amp. For battery power a Kinetik HC 1400 under the hood and a HC1200 will be placed back beside the amps. More pics to come after we get the box bolted in.

What year? My dad left me his '78 SS which needs ALOT of work but I can't wait to get started on it.

I do believe it is a 1983 SS. We found the original build order stuffed up under the head liner when we recovered it in tweed last week. The box sits in the spare tire area with the face sticking out over the ledge. The only part of the box you will be able to see is the tweeded front after the trim is in.

LOL I keep threatening to put dingo balls up around the windows. From the build order on it I see why they are called an el camino..they are made in Mexico. I didn't realize GM had cars made there that long ago.

Nice car. They are actually pretty easy to kind of loud too. The last elco build I did was 4 idq 10s and it was pretty nice. That of course was before the stereo was pulled in favor of the 700+ hp small block.

Those body styles are bad assed

Here is the box bolted inside. The trim panels cover the edges. Just waiting for the braces to dry in place to bolt them up. Amp rack location will be a little different but should work well. The amps have some huge fans to move the air around lol. We also carpeted up the ps2 frame but we are waiting to put that in.
