I'd actually compare this sub to the Eclipse Ti rather than the W7. With the exception of the prototype basket I have never thought that this sub looked anything like a W7. I really don't know how the confusion started. eD has always advocated that this is not designed or intended to compete with the W7. Even the low efficiency and high MMS is similar to the Ti Pro.

Honestly guys, the 13av.2 is nothing like the W7 or the Eclipse Ti. It had a slightly similar appearance to the W7 before because of the basket, but that's about it.

I said those companies had problems also when they started but there was not forums for the things to get blown out of proportion on. If you quote me quote me properly.

Even though they make valid points, its still not enough to steer me away from ED. I will admit, my first posts were really childish, actually feel kind of embarrassed about it. But oh well, i know nothing of the past, so i will just leave it as is. I will continue to support ED and buy from them, hate me if you want. Its a internet forum, i could care less what people say to me or about me on here.

And once i find a better job, i plan on getting 2 13AV.2's with 2 Nine.1's strapped...................YUM!!!!

As mentioned before, most of the bashing is comming from people that were never really involved and can't back up the claims. The people that say they were directly involved will not discuss specifics so how can the rest of us believe the statements?

Ben left a bad taste in many people's mouths many years ago David....its kind of one of those burning bridges things, and in this industry once you burn bridges with a certain group of individuals that is how your image is forever taken from that point on...regardless of what others may say.

Have I searched? Yes. I have searched all over and have heard lots of people saying they had a problem with ED but none have posted anything solid. I really am not bashing you on the post but am really interested in problems that have happened. I do understand they (ED) had problems with a line that was fixed after it was released but I have searched and not found any solid facts.
I am not saying that all of the posters are young punks but I am saying people that come here and bash the products that have never owned the products should keep out of the discussion.

I have never claimed to be a know it all but I give everyone/company a fare shake. Since I was introduced to ED about 2 years now) I have seen nothing that would cause me to bash the company nor believe they would be twisted.

Again, you show up to the discussion late, then demand everyone prove to YOU that these things are true. otherwise you'll assume they aren't and continue to support eD. What, do you think we all just decided to gang up on this guy and his company for no reason? I'll let you in on a little secret... I originally was an eD fan. An up and coming speaker manufacturer, made in the USA... even from a similar portion of Iowa than I originally lived. What wasn't to like? Then I found out they were lying to me via their website and their own words, in order to try and swindle my hard earned money out of me for an inferior deadening mat, and I realized my mistake in supporting them. After that, I started looking into their past, and their present... and it became clear we have a crooked business/owner in the industry.

You do not have to have owned an eD product to have a dog in this fight. Im sick of eD fans, you know... people running eD equipment like you, telling people they have no right to cut on Ben or his business unless they have purchases some crap from him/them. That's the lousiest excuse to try and shut someone up Ive heard in a while. Ive almost bough eD stuff, never have. Does that make me any less informed? Obviously not, Im much more well informed on this subject than you, and you own some of their crap. So forgive me Ive I dont go running from the thread because Im not some proud owner of an eD nine.1.

That's because you have your eyes closed. Some people would come across this thread, and be interested enough to go research and find out if everything we say is true (and it is). While other people will assume its not true, sit back saying so, and demand others prove it to him before he budges. And its funny, usually the second type of people are coincidentally also owners of eD products. Which one of those types of people are you? Ive given you one link, find the rest yourself. But until you bring yourself out of your ignorance, please refrain from posting in these threads as if you are not ignorant to the facts.

Hate you? nah man, I think you know I wont hate anyone for picking eD products. But your attempts to make one excuse after another, for a man and a company that literally steal from their customers... I certainly wont hate you, but I do find your motives... questionable. Why else would a person make the same arguement over and over, knowing its not true (the silly notion all eD's problems are ancient history)... and claim he's ignorant to the facts over and over again... when more than one person here has already educated him? You have already stated in other threads that so long as you get what you want from eD, you really dont care about anything else. Are you ****ing kidding? Allstate is the biggest joke of a company I have ever dealt with. Hell, I would rather be a customer of eD than a customer of Allstate. If you're with Allstate, just make sure you never get in a wreck, never get your car stolen, and pray nothing ever gets stolen from it. I was told by them that when my CD player got stolen that it wasn't covered because it wasn't the stock unit. Now, after the car was stolen, that I should have filed a claim for my CD player when it got stolen. When I wanted to file a claim for that as well, I was told I couldn't because the car had already been taken. Complete and utter bullshit and lies. Hmm.. actually, they sound a lot like eD.

im in property and Casulty and they are the worst company to deal with honestly. They get commision to send a claim to arbitration rather than doing the ethical thing of paying the claim when their liable

Ok I have not searched in the past few months but I did search before I ordered my last item from ED. I am very happy with my edead (V2 of course) I agree with you that trying to pull the wool over the customers eyes is the wrong thing to do.

I want you to understand one thing, not one have I demanded anything from anyone here.

Now as being a fan boy or ED fan a you put it... Lame I have stated that I have had a good results with the products as well as many of the "haters" (using that for lack of a better term) have had NO hands on with the products or the company.

You know what you may be right, like a month and a half ago, they broke into my Accord, this happened on a Tuesday. So i just installed my sub and amp that past Thursday, so they stoled the amp, my track jacket, and a few other things. I called the insurance, they told me to bring all the receipts and boxes, i did, then when i went to the claims center, they said i didnt have ZA coverage. WTF, never did my insurance tell me that i needed special coverage to cover theft. So yeah, i am out an amp and other shit. Hard lesson learned, i might be looking around for other insurances.
