Depends on the skills on eD's laywers. If it is slightly different, they can get by with it.
I don't see why the hate on companies that copy-cat other products. If I can find a way to build a similar perfoming product at 1/2 the price, it keeps prices low for the consumer.

The bold is what you were saying? Wow, it has a round cone and tall surround.... just like every other long excursion sub out there. Great deduction Holmes, now tell us how that's relevant to this discussion. Almost every sub has a round cone, you good for nothing pea brain. Are you seriously trying to suggest that's more important than the extremely similar frames? Do you know anything about speaker design? Anything, at all?

I appreciate your kind words towards me.

However when arguing or debating, why not attack with issue with thought and articulate it in a clear and stress-free manner.

By saying "this post of yours just makes me laugh", you are just making things worse for yourself and those who use eD products.

I made a clear and effective point as to why I use eD products and the risk I am taking by using their products. This reflects well on behalf of eD and their other supporters. By lowering yourself to petty name calling, it makes the brands you stand behind look lower as well.

I And to correct an earlier poster, it was not two years ago, it is an on going problem, the most recent issue was claiming that eD designed something that Tang Band had done. Bold face lying to customers and marketing something as your own when its not, is horrible business. And check on ICIXsound boards and notice that anyone who has a schread of a question about en eD product gets banned on the spot, that board is run to push propaganda and brain wash more people into buying eD product.

It's the other way around TB stole ED's original design, get your facts straight, But lets face the facts, no one here will ever give ED the time of day or benifit of the doubt, I have not noticed any bad business practices ofver the last 2 years and doubt I will.

That fact that ICIX says to call ED if you are having a problem is the proper thing to do as it is a COMPANY SPONSERED BOARD, so they can do whatever they want. Do you think the same does not happen on any moderated forum owned by a manufacturer, Do you think any manufacturer would let people come on their forum and complain for issues that could be fixed easily with a quick phone call or online support.

see thats the thing, its gets to a point where you cant be nice anymore, i was trying to move on, but these guys wont let it go. so i am sticking around for the hell of it. i am not representing ED, so even if i wanted to act like a total *******, it wont reflect the company. basically i like there products and i wont be changing anytime soon.

So far you've come here and stated how wonderful and reputable eD is, we stated you were wrong, we argue a while, then you say WE are at fault for not dropping it. lol! If people think eD has complaints, check out companies like Wal-Mart, Target, Best-buy, etc where there are 1,000s of complaints about the same issues.
