This is the main reason I don't post on this board, as Way too many people cannot get over crap theat happened 2-4 years ago, So you blew an A series flat cone 6 times due to running 2000 watts to a 1200 watt woofer, I wouldn't warranty you any more either. Oh you bought a scrap pack Of Edead that said some v1se in it and only had a 1 foot piece, duh it said some and 1 ft constitutes some. Oh I pre-ordered an Ov2 and it took me 9 month's to get, Hey so did I but I didn't ***** about it, and preorders now are not charged until the product is ready to ship (not the case in 2004 I know that) Oh and don't go ito the whole Asphalt vs buytl edead crap as V1SE2 has been buytl since mid 05 and V1 since late 05 and the always said rubberized asphalt with buytl core.

Look I have run the 13kv.2, OV,2 and 19Ov.2 and been more than happy with all of them, I am going to buy 13Av.2 when it comes out, why? because I can and have had nothing but good experiences with ED's stuff. Is it the best in the world? By no means, is it the worse? Hell no. Sure they did some stuff in the past, every company has growing pains, even the almighty JL did back in the day, but most of you are too young to remember that and I am not comparing ED to JL in any way here, just stating a fact.

I have a Nine.1 and have no complaints and I had the old A series 12 and loved it till it got stolen but I know they made alot of mistakes in the past but I will prob get the new A to see what it can do and if I like it keep it if not get rid of it.

i dont have to give up shit alright, everyone is hating on me because i like ED. thats it, your like every other guy on this forum, ganging up on the n00b. its all good, i am not going to stop posting, and i will continue to like ED, no matter what you guy's think about them.

The issue is that people who support eD support Ben and his business practices. He has burned so many bridges and jumped ship on too many build houses, I cannot understand why anyone would follow or support him. Meaning the people that support eD are hurting the good companies that are working hard for the customer and are not out there just to make a quick buck. People like Mark of Mach5, Mike of SoundSplinter, Scott of Fi, Nick of Stereo Integrity, Jacob of Sundown etc. The list could go on and on. And with TCAB, he screwed a good number of people on here, not just one or two. Notice why TCAB does not post here? He has run off to another forum to find greener pastures to make money off new people. So na_rsx, you support and follow two companies who have made major bad decisions that have burned or financially hurt many members of this board (and that is saying something since this is one of the largest car audio boards on the net period), so I dont think it is far fetched to wonder why people don't agree with you.

 

Honestly I should close this **** thread, it is just going to piss off more people and cause more problems.

Even though you don't agree doesn't mean you should censor. Censorship for things other than ToS violations doesn't provide for an open community. Don't be a censor like eD. be bigger than that.

I just eD because I got it cheap and it works. I may have my own test with eD coming soon to determine their level of customer service from my own perspective.

I can't think of a major retailer that hasn't done some of the same things eD has done. Some of them are in it for the bottom line, others are in it because they enjoy it. As an investor, I prefer eDs style as they move into more marketplaces. As a consumer, I prefer Fi and like's style. Me and Nick (NDmustang) had a lengthy discussion about it when I was trying to think of ways to improve the bottom line.

Unfortunately, none of the companies you listed above make an 8 for less than $100.

I am not saying anyone has the right to band mouth someone, I am just saying why people are going to have a very negative reaction when they see you support a company / product that has hurt or burned them. Honestly, go over to carstereos.org. There on the forum is a topic called the Ben Milne love parade, you can learn all you want about the dealings as to which has happened over the years with eD.

 

And to correct an earlier poster, it was not two years ago, it is an on going problem, the most recent issue was claiming that eD designed something that Tang Band had done. Bold face lying to customers and marketing something as your own when its not, is horrible business. And check on ICIXsound boards and notice that anyone who has a schread of a question about en eD product gets banned on the spot, that board is run to push propaganda and brain wash more people into buying eD product.

um na_rsx i dont apprecieate u posting shit on my thread to the point they want to close it...so please stop posting...i made this thread to show how much of a copy cat sub this is...they take styling ques from different companies and say they made them themselves...its not true...dont be suprised if l audio slap them with a law suit once this sub is out

Depends on the skills on eD's laywers. If it is slightly different, they can get by with it.

I don't see why the hate on companies that copy-cat other products. If I can find a way to build a similar perfoming product at 1/2 the price, it keeps prices low for the consumer.
