see, i said the cones and surround look alike, not the whole sub. its obvious you need to maintain a ego. and trust me, you dont need to be light on me, i come from a forum where i pwnt people on a daily basis. i may be new on this forum, but i am no stranger to forums.

What forums are you a veteran at that actually thinks eD has a good reputation? ICX is the only one I can think of...

Even the cone and surround on the two subs look no more alike than any of a hundred other subs on the market. While the new eD sub and the W7 (orig version anyway) look strikingly similar.

LOL...actually I have eD products. Are they the best...Na, my subs **** pretty much donkey balls, but I do love my amp. Will I buy from them again? *shrug* maybe.....depends on what I'm looking for and how much money I have had.

Sub looks interesting, gotta say its at least up with some bigger loved subs right now. I really am interested in how it performs. I really hope someone gets ahold of one to do a non-bias test on it.

how do you know?what do you look at in these specs?

High xmax/xmech, really low Fs, yet high Qts. It'll have an f3 of around 36hz in 1.3 cu ft sealed. To put that into perspective, it should go lower than the W7, Brahma, and XXX in that same box.
