I am looking into building a fair saound quality system in an '89 chevy ext cab I am picking up this weekend. In order to keep the cost as low as possible I need to use as many of the components that I already have as possible. Also, rear seat must remain useable. If you would, let me know what you think is possible, and what I need to buy to accomplish this.
I have:
HU: Pioneer DEH-P3500 (probably the first thing I need to upgrade right?)
JL 500/1 (for subs)
RF 250a2 (sending off for repairs this week. Haven't really figured a use for it yet)
Alpine MRV-T300 (possibly use for some components?)
Pioneer GM-X524 (probably not going to use?)
RF Capacitor ( I read that I don't need so won't use)
Coustic crossover (also read that I don't need)
(2) JL 10W3V2-D4
I need to keep it as far under $1000 as possible so I can look into another head unit and a new box to fit under the seat (hatch/trunk box now aint going to cut it).
Another thing, I have been out of this for a LONG time, so if you use abbreviations I have no clue what most of them are //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Any help is appreciated.
