I need help in making a system

ok here is the deal i have 8-10 grand to spend and ive think i have come down to wat i want..i want mostly all jl because i trust them so here

HU: ?? no clue really im so lost at this

speakers: JL Audio XR653-CS(im thinking about three sets of these)

subs: 3 12" W7

sub amps: JL Audio 500/1 (three of them one for each sub)

speaker amps: JL Audio 450/4

Batt: Optima Yellow

as for the wire kit and all that i dont kno where to go..maybe jl or kicker on that one

but this is real i have the money i just want to kno if this will sound clear and will knock at the same time

bro you can do much better for around the same or much less first of all you will need more then just 500 watts to get the most from those w7 if not you will hate them..

for speakers i would go with the xr series has you choose i used them and there awsome for subs id go with something else im not sure how much your getting each w7 for but im guessing no less then $400 if its brand new you realize for that price you can get 15-18'' fi Q series or there new BTL series?

ok if it was my money heres what id go with since you didnt say what this is going into im just gona guess assume you got room for this

subs- 3 15'' Q series--$837

amp- kicker zx2500 or punch t30001bd from $750-$900 depending f

speakers-2 sets of jl xr series-$700

4 channel amp around $300

head unit-Pioneer Premier DEH-P980BT $430 i myself love alpine flip outs if you want those you can get a nice one for about $900

optima yellow top for about $140-$160

so now your at $3157 to $3797

this would pretty much walk all over the system you mentioned provided installer knows what hes doing and cost you about $5000-$7000 cheaper

I would ask what I have in the last couple of forums, what are your goals with the system.

The JL drivers, comps and amps are nice, but as for an amp why would you want something the runs the same power at all loads unless your working with pure SQ?

I like the opinions listed above, but for the same price you can have IMO much better SQ equiptment then JL.

Honestly I can design an entire car fo 10K that would sound amazing.

i want pure sq im not looking for an spl comp car i just want it to be pure sounding audio..even more of an sql

The only problem with that u have is there is no way in hell i could fit 3 15's in my trunk haha the twelves yes and my bad not saying wat its going into its going into a 300c since my accord i just put my system from y civic in there the accord was done but now i have a 300c on the way next week. and i was planning on getting everything of sonicelectronix

Look at Focal amps (off the top of my head), MB quarts/Boston Acustics/Rainbow Components and leave the subs alone W6v2 amd W7 are a nice choice.

You may want to invest in a audiocontrol single processor if you serious about it.

BTW, 3 x 15" subs not= SQ in my mind

If you're really serious about a SQ system I think you should start over & approach from a different direction. The focus of your system is the subs, whereas you should be adding the subs to compliment the rest of the system.

Sub-bass is only 10% of the sound spectrum.

This appears in EVERY thread where someone wants JL. I'm sick and tired of hearing it..if you want JL, get JL. It's awesome equipment. If he has $7,000 he's throwing down on an audio system, whos to tell him to get lower cost equipment? The W7's are excellent subs.

Yeah, I'm sure 3 15's would hit harder than 3 12's (considering they are the same class of subwoofer). That isn't rocket science.

Good point. The real question is why not use the W6? With 500w into each having the W7's are simply bragging rights.
