Ever since I hooked up my subs my ECMB FUSE keeps blowing

I have a 140 alternator, just did the big 3, kinda nervous to take the car for a drive, it might leave me stranded! Alternator gets hot is that normal? Very hot to the touch. Or do I need to get a 200 amp alternator. I have a hifonics Brutus 2000 watt amp., 2PPI PRO 124 subs

well, those amps are going to draw more than your alt. can keep up with @1ohm...which exact model? anywhoo, i would either go 4ohm, or run 1 at 2ohm, or upgrade the alternator. it gets hot because the diodes are being overloaded at a real high duty cycle. if the thing blows the fuse with the volume not cranked, then the alternator is probably damaged anyways. check you running voltage and make sure you are not over-charging
