it hasnt been thaaat long, but its been about 3 hours24 hours maximum for recent listings to show up in a search. Dont worry about it...
You must have done something, or your account was hacked. They dont just suspend your account.... I have had mine hacked a couple times.Ok this is a joke. Ebay has suspended my account for no apparent reason. ANd they wont respond to my emails when i asked them why, all i get is automated responses.
Can i make a new account, or will it not let me since my name is in their system already?
How would someone do that? And what did you do about it?You must have done something, or your account was hacked. They dont just suspend your account.... I have had mine hacked a couple times.
The first time I was just checking my eBay because I had just had some auctions end, and there were 5 new auctions selling Apple G5 computers... I reported it to eBay and they suspended my account for quite a while, couple months at least. After that it was cool for a while, but they said someone had gotten into my account again, but didnt do anything; they just knew someone else had logged in. No problems thus far though...How would someone do that? And what did you do about it?
I was sent an email notifying me of the suspension of my account. I then replied to it asking for someone to explain what made them suspend it, and recieved a response that contained all the rules, etc. That didnt tell me what i needed to know, so i responded through the alert that was sent through my ebay, with no response as of yet.The first time I was just checking my eBay because I had just had some auctions end, and there were 5 new auctions selling Apple G5 computers... What automated responses are you getting? Whenever you send a message to eBay you automatically get an email saying that your question will be answered within 24 hours, or something like that, is this the response you get?
I believe you are not supposed to respond to a suspension notice. Try sending them a message the normal way, not by replying to anything, but just create a new message and see what kind of luck you get.I was sent an email notifying me of the suspension of my account. I was trying to sell brand new PS2 controller for a friend of mine who doesnt have an account..What exactly were you trying to sell? If someone reported it for a listing violation of some kind that might have causedan account suspension....
I've been an eBay member since Feb/03 without any problems.....weird.
